AEROSPACE ENGINEERING

Aerospace engineering is the primary focus area for S-PLANE products and services. Our staff have decades of experience in this field, mainly related to fixed and rotary wing unmanned and optionally piloted aerial vehicles (UAVs and OPVs), and their navigation, flight control and mission management subsystems. Various additional unmanned system strengths have grown from these activities at S-PLANE, including our marine and terrestrial vehicle automation capabilities (USVs, AUVs, UGVs).

Our target markets range from Tactical and Strategic UAVs/OPVs for military applications down to high-end Mini-UAVs for both civil and military applications. All of our products are available qualified and certified to appropriate industrial, aeronautical and military standards (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DO-160), delivered with the service and continued support expected of the industries in which we operate.
