We are active participants in the International Council on System Engineering (INCOSE) and subscribe to the system engineering principles advocated. Planning, process definition, requirements capture, structured design, interface definition, risk assessment, verification, validation, qualification, tracing and configuration management are all key system engineering elements performed by S-PLANE across system, subsystem, software and hardware levels.


Aerospace engineering is the primary focus area for S-PLANE products and services. Our staff have decades of experience in this field, mainly related to fixed and rotary wing unmanned and optionally piloted aerial vehicles (UAVs and OPVs), and their navigation, flight control and mission management subsystems. Various additional unmanned system strengths have grown from these activities at S-PLANE, including our marine and terrestrial vehicle automation capabilities (USVs, AUVs, UGVs).


S-PLANE is a skilled developer of various types of control and automation systems for marine vessels. These include manned vessels with ride control or manoeuvring requirements as well as Unmanned Sea-Surface Vehicles (USVs) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) with full automation, communication and mission management requirements.
